Montana Avenue brings together businesses, visitors, and neighbors. Board service is an opportunity to think about what helps all three.

See the bigger picture.
Bring your business experience while considering the needs of other merchants and the surrounding neighborhood.
Make room for other voices.
Listen, ask useful questions, and approach differences with respect.
Be ready to contribute.
Ask about meeting preparation, responsibilities between meetings, and the work that needs consistent attention.
Before you commit
