The Montana Avenue Merchants Association or MAMA (established 1979) represents the businesses on Montana Ave. in Santa Monica to promote and market the Montana Avenue Business Improvement District (BID) as a vital, safe, unique place for shopping, dining, and enjoyment.

With roughly 150 members (business license holders) this non-profit corporation is managed by a Board of Directors elected by the general membership.

We are committed to building and nurturing partnerships with each other, our city government, and other businesses and neighborhood organizations to improve and enhance the quality of work and life in our community.

The Board meets once a month, currently on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm via Google Meet and in person. There is at least one annual meeting for elections each year, and one general meeting. Board members serve two-year terms.
